Cardiology Short Stay Registered Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiology Short Stay Unit (CSSU) at Christiana Hospital.

CSSU is a 14-bed mixed cardiac specific inpatient and observation intermediate cardiac care area, providing scheduled and emergency care/procedures on a 24-hour basis.

The area is designed to accommodate 14 patients who need emergency cardiac care and testing.

You will also have the opportunity to cross-train to our Cardiac Care Unit (WCCU) at the Wilmington Hospital, a 9-bed unit.

Requirements:
  • At least one year of medical/surgical experience in an inpatient setting is required.
  • Strongly prefer cardiac and/or step-down experience.
  • BLS & ACLS required.
  • BSN required or willing and able to obtain within 3 years from the date of hire.
  • Delaware RN Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Delaware.
