Position Overview

Remote Speech Language Pathologist (SLP):

Role Summary:

  • Perform online evaluations to assess students' emotional, social, and behavioral requirements, working closely with educators and families to develop effective intervention strategies.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to assist students in overcoming obstacles, enhancing coping mechanisms, and fostering positive interpersonal relationships.
  • Engage with educational personnel and administrative staff, acting as a bridge between the school environment, home, and community support services, while ensuring precise documentation of all activities.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
  • Current licensure in the state of Illinois as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
