Qualifications:
- Licensed or eligible for licensure by the State of Illinois under the Illinois Speech Pathology Practice Act.
- Membership or eligibility for membership in ASHA is preferred.
- General knowledge and skills for evaluating and treating a diverse range of clients, including neonates, pediatrics, young adults, adults, and geriatrics.
- Current CPR certification and other service line-specific competencies.
Essential Job Functions:
- Conduct client-centered evaluations and establish speech therapy diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based speech language pathology treatments.
- Maintain documentation, reporting, and information dissemination.
Case Management:
- Evaluate treatment effectiveness, revise plans, and manage discharges from services.
Quality and Service Excellence:
- Exhibit a positive attitude, empathy, and professionalism.
- Demonstrate interpersonal skills that make clients feel valued and respected while ensuring their privacy and confidentiality.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to enhance overall service quality and problem-solving.
