LPN or RN Charge Nurse, FT and PRN, Long-Term Care Facility

We are seeking a skilled LPN or RN Charge Nurse to join our team at Epworth Villa. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct supervision to nursing personnel, ensuring that nursing care is provided according to facility standards and policies. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing individualized plans of care to maximize the quality of life for our residents.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct supervision to nursing personnel, including CNAs, CMAs, and Ward Clerks
Develop and implement individualized plans of care for residents
Ensure that nursing care is provided according to facility standards and policies
Communicate with residents, family members, and other healthcare professionals as needed
Participate in quality assurance rounds and updates residents' plans of care as needed
Collaborate with other staff members to maintain and increase the quality of life for residents
Provide leadership and supervision for the nursing staff on assigned shift
Requirements:
Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)
At least two years of satisfactory work experience as a nurse, demonstrating leadership and supervisory skills
Current CPR/First Aid certification through the American Heart Association
Knowledge of state and local regulations regarding long-term care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
