Position Overview

The Retail Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for leading the Retail Accounting Department, ensuring precise and timely financial reporting. This role encompasses the management of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and banking operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Department Oversight: Direct the Accounts Payable team, ensuring accurate handling of vendor invoices and tax documentation while promoting efficient processing of retail accounts receivable and credit transactions.
  • Project Management: Engage in various ad hoc projects and analyses, establishing robust control systems to ensure data integrity, and actively participate in special projects and report generation.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with colleagues, management, clients, and franchise partners, ensuring adherence to regulations, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required, with a Master's degree preferred. CPA certification is highly desirable.

Experience: A minimum of 8 years in accounting or finance is essential, along with proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and MS Dynamics GP.

Skills: Strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills are crucial for success in this role.
