Key Responsibilities
  • Operate refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned routes, ensuring timely and efficient service
  • Collect and dump garbage and refuse, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
  • Provide courteous and expeditious customer service, responding to customer inquiries and concerns
  • Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections, maintaining a clean and safe vehicle
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Valid Class A or B CDL, with a clean driving record
  • At least 21 years of age, with a strong understanding of refuse collection policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, with a strong physical presence
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances
Work Environment

As a Residential Driver, you will work in a variety of environments, including residential zones, commercial areas, and industrial settings. You will be exposed to extreme temperatures, weather conditions, and physical demands, requiring a high level of physical fitness and stamina.
