Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of on-site maintenance work experience in Multi-Family/Residential properties and at least 1 year of supervisory experience. They will be responsible for overseeing maintenance and grounds personnel, managing maintenance and preventative maintenance needs, collaborating with vendors, preparing apartments for make-ready turns, completing work service requests, and performing preventative maintenance and repair on HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee maintenance and grounds personnel to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Manage ongoing maintenance needs, including preventative maintenance and repairs, to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Collaborate with vendors for contracted services, including capital improvement projects, to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Prepare apartments for make-ready turns to ensure a smooth transition for new residents.
  • Complete work orders for service requests, including plumbing, carpentry, and light electrical work.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repair on HVAC and other mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in on-site maintenance management, with a focus on Multi-Family/Residential properties.
  • At least 4-5 years of maintenance experience, with 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Detailed knowledge of make-ready unit turns, including light carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
  • HVAC certification is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automotive insurance.
  • Basic set of tools.
  • Responsible and reliable individual with a positive attitude.
