Job Summary:

This role is responsible for financial reporting, general accounting support, and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) with a focus on manufacturing cost accounting. The Plant Controller will work closely with the Director, Finance to develop the Unither Budget and revisions.

The ideal candidate will have strong cost accounting, FP&A, and technical accounting support skills, as well as excellent communication and mentoring capabilities. Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office applications is critical, with Power BI experience being a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Systems & Controls (45%): Maintain monthly standards and margin analysis against budgeted factors, highlight differences, and report at the product sku level all cost metrics.
  • Budgets (20%): Responsible for Budget / Forecast / Financial Plan information, and understanding the operational impacts.
  • ERP Finance Modules Used Effectively (30%): Utilize in-depth understanding of the limitations of the application and how it may be changed to assess issues and define solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred.
  • CPA a plus.
  • 8 years' work experience in Accounting/Finance.
  • Significant standard cost experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with visual analysis tools, Power BI, and/or Tableau.
  • Previous Supervisory experience preferred.
