KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver information to families inquiring about our services in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Collect benefits information for each client and relay detailed information to guardians.
  • Compile and organize necessary documentation for each client, ensuring compliance with insurance standards prior to submission.
  • Maintain close communication with parents to confirm receipt of all required documentation.
  • Facilitate coordination among various departments and provide regular updates on client enrollment status.
  • Keep well-organized client files and records.
  • Address any insurance-related inquiries that arise during the initial stages of the process.
  • Enhance access to Comprehensive Behavior Supports' impactful ABA services for children with autism by building and nurturing relationships with schools, healthcare providers, and other organizations that refer families for autism care.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, uphold ethical and professional standards, maintain client and employee confidentiality, ensure HIPAA compliance, and comply with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations regarding ABA therapy delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Spanish proficiency is advantageous; a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Sciences or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; familiarity with ABA practices and previous intake experience is beneficial; knowledge of insurance models is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong operational skills with attention to detail; ability to maintain thorough documentation for seamless transitions to the Case Management team; capability to work both independently and collaboratively; empathetic skills to foster and maintain relationships with clients' families and relevant professionals; a positive demeanor that promotes optimism in the workplace; self-awareness and a willingness to embrace feedback for personal growth.
