JINKO SOLAR U.S. INDUSTRIES INC. is seeking a highly skilled Technical/Process Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Documentation: Create detailed technical documents, build bills of materials, and configure product and production order information in our PLM, SAP, and MES systems.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with our HQ technical department to implement new materials and products, and coordinate with HQ on modifying drawings and technical specifications to meet US standards and machine manufacturability.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Track and monitor CTM, use numerical values or key metrics to illustrate disparities between power prediction and real output, and work with the manufacturing engineer to conduct root cause analysis.
- Supplier Evaluation and Management: Work with procurement and QA to evaluate and audit suppliers, and facilitate action item closure. Assist suppliers in driving product and process improvement.
- Certification and Testing: Prepare sample modules for certifications and reliability tests.
- Customer Complaint Resolution: Deal with customer complaints, create failure analysis root cause reports using an 8D methodology.
- Compliance and Audits: Contribute to ISO, IEC, UL, and customer compliance audits, and support pre-shipment inspection activities.
- Process Improvement: Assist in developing and modifying existing processes or machines to improve material flow and waste reduction, and lead improvement initiatives to ensure the organization meets its customer satisfaction and cost reduction goals.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Materials Engineering or related discipline required (Master's degree preferred).
- Language Skills: Bilingual Mandarin Chinese and English is a must, ability to read and write technical terms in Chinese.
- Work Experience: At least 2 years of working experience in high-tech manufacturing industry or highly automated manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Ability to review and update technical drawings in 2D or 3D, knowledge of materials property and good mechanical aptitude.
- Soft Skills: Good team player with a positive and proactive attitude, self-starter who performs well under minimum supervision, ability to communicate effectively and accurately.
- Computer Skills: Computer skills including Microsoft Office and CAD software (Solidworks or Inventor), experience using SAP, PLM and MES.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk the production area throughout the workday, able to lift to 50 pounds without restriction.
