Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service / Patient Care:
  • Deliver and exemplify superior customer service; collaborate closely with Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Encourage and implement 'Greet, Ask, and Thank' strategies; direct calls to the appropriate team members.
  • Process written prescriptions and verify patient information; manage refill requests through various channels.
  • Generate and maintain prescription-related documentation; organize prescriptions in the Will-Call area.
  • Utilize the point of sale system effectively to ensure accurate prescription delivery.
  • Guide customers to the consultation area for Pharmacist interaction.
  • Handle customer transactions efficiently and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with patient care initiatives, including immunization scheduling and medication therapy management.

Inventory Management:
  • Receive and verify inventory deliveries for accuracy.
  • Organize and stock inventory appropriately within the pharmacy.
  • Maintain compliance with inventory management protocols.

Compliance and Sanitation:
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy.
  • Follow company policies to ensure proper patient counseling.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum age of 18.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in retail; pharmacy experience is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Completion of all required training and certifications.

Skills Required:
  • Knowledge of pharmacy operations and customer service.
  • Strong mathematical and computer skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
