We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Behavioral/Psychiatric Unit at West Central Regional Hospital.
Job Summary:- Provide high-quality patient care, treatment, and general welfare to patients in a fast-paced Behavioral/Psychiatric Unit.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, and act as Charge Nurse/Shift Supervisor when needed.
- Work under general supervision, with moderate latitude for initiative and independent nursing judgment.
- Perform basic and complex nursing tasks to fulfill the health needs of patients, including collection of lab work and other health screenings.
- Keep informed of and follow all agency, facility, and unit policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Active Nursing License.
- Current American Heart Association BLS.
- Current TB (if positive, Chest X-ray is required).
- Current Physical.
- At least 1 year of RN experience (Behavioral/Psychiatric experience preferred).
- $40 per hour (local).
- Paid every Friday.
- Insurance available for Full-Time Employees (must work a minimum of 30 hours per week).
- 7am-7pm.
- 7pm-7am.
- Must work every other weekend.
- Must work 1 major summer and 1 major winter holiday.
Long-Term Placement.
Interview:In Person.
Orientation:1st and 16th of every month (if the 1st or 16th falls on a weekend or holiday, orientation will be the next business day) from 8am-5pm.
