Job Description: Youth Services Assistant

BronxWorks seeks a highly motivated and enthusiastic Youth Services Assistant to join our team. As a Youth Services Assistant, you will work closely with the Program Director to develop and implement program goals and activities for youth, create a supportive environment, and provide guidance and support as needed.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Program Director in developing and implementing program goals and activities.
  • Support and guide young people in their personal and academic growth.
  • Develop and lead recreational, educational, and social activities that promote youth development.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young people and has experience in education or youth development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience working with youth in a recreational, educational, or social environment.
  • New York State Central Registry clearance and certification from the New York State Office of Children and Family Services.
  • Experience with or knowledge of best practices in youth development preferred.

Estimated salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
