Job Summary:

As a Senior Technology Project Manager at Pitisci & Associates, you will be responsible for managing Enterprise Data and Services, Change the Business (CTB) Releases for large and/or multiple projects including Data Analytics and Data Warehouse initiatives with significant impact on business processes and technology used firm wide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preliminary investigations for all project requests by reviewing requirements and specifications and testing and by reviewing support and training plans to ensure they are aligned with organizational priorities, business plans and objectives.
  • Develop, prepare, present and maintain project plans, including staffing requirements, cost estimates, detailed budgets and work breakdown structures and schedules.
  • Perform and communicate project risk assessments, including identifying key risk factors, providing effective mitigation strategies and assigning contingency action plans to both schedules and budgets.
  • Support teams by applying established methodologies, using change control templates and processes; monitoring budgets; maintaining precise documentation/artifacts required as part of PMO and Internal Audit; serving as a liaison with internal customers and external suppliers; and communicating regularly with project stakeholders.
  • Support project budgets including creating and maintaining resource allocations and actively tracking costs to the approved budget.
  • Partner with other functional areas to accomplish objectives.
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies and can work with TFS (Azure DevOps) to create Sprints.
  • Capable of handling large cross-functional teams, guiding the teams through Agile Sprints, conducting and managing Agile ceremonies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or applicable degree and three (3) to five (5) years of experience including: project management, enterprise implementation, strategic planning, business acumen, applications development, and change management or combination of education, training and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience with in-depth knowledge of Scrum and implementation of Agile Methodologies, strong knowledge of Scrum Management, Sprint, and Release Planning.
  • PMP or equivalent certification highly preferred.
  • CSM or equivalent certification highly preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Application development and project life cycle methodologies and standards.
  • Agile Methodologies and SAFe (preferred).
  • Project selection and approvals; budgeting and business case preparation and analysis; and project initiation and planning, including work breakdown structures and forecasting.
  • Experience managing large complex release cycles highly preferred.
  • Concepts of risk management, issue tracking, change management and requirements gathering.
  • Information technology support and technical documentation.
  • Principles of banking and finance and securities industry operations: Business planning and analysis, MS Project, Azure DevOps (TFS), SmartSheets, project budget interfaces with other accounting systems.
