KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Utilize and maintain technical resources for parts with the latest information.
- Understand dealership credit policies.
- Exemplify professionalism and a positive attitude, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist in maintaining the appearance and safety of the facility by organizing and cleaning the counter area.
- Complete any other tasks assigned by management.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- This role requires a full range of motion, including lifting and handling, manual dexterity, and coordination.
- The position may involve standing, balancing, bending, or stooping for extended periods.
- Occasionally, you may need to lift and carry items weighing up to 80 pounds.
- Corrected vision and hearing within normal ranges are necessary.
- Ability to work under pressure or during irregular hours is required.
- Certification for lift trucks and basic knowledge of warehousing equipment is necessary.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- High school diploma or equivalent is essential.
- A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record is required.
- Experience in selling medium and heavy-duty truck parts, automotive, or RV products is preferred.
- Proficiency in computer usage is a must.
- Knowledge of diesel engines, gas engines, drive trains, and suspensions is beneficial.
- Strong verbal and communication skills are essential.
- Attention to detail is crucial.
- Ability to interpret vague instructions and respond appropriately in various situations.
- Flexibility and adaptability in dealing with diverse individuals, often in challenging situations.
- Capable of resolving conflicts and making effective decisions under pressure.
- Strong listening skills to identify real problems and bring them to resolution.
- Ability to analyze information, create work plans, and articulate goals and action plans.
- Proven communication skills and the ability to understand others.
- Successful completion of a General Abilities Assessment and passing of post-offer background checks, physicals, and drug screenings are required.
