Job Overview

Objective

Oversee the comprehensive lifecycle of a diverse range of bakery ingredients and products, which includes the development of new offerings, continuous product enhancement, and the phase-out of underperforming items. Facilitate the creation of growth strategies for products and categories, develop compelling narratives and materials for sales, conduct product training sessions, and analyze the competitive landscape. Act as a representative of the Product Marketing division in collaborative projects aimed at enhancing business performance and expansion.

Key Responsibilities


• Direct the product lifecycle management: from the inception of new products to ongoing improvements and eventual discontinuation.


• Cultivate expertise in assigned product categories: leverage market trends and competitive insights for effective portfolio management.


• Ensure alignment of product marketing initiatives with corporate and category goals, supporting the broader business objectives.


• Assist in formulating both short-term and long-term strategies for product and category growth.


• Craft and disseminate persuasive product and category narratives.


• Manage general portfolio oversight: coordinate product catalogs, seasonal initiatives, website content, and training materials.


• Contribute to the development of business cases for relevant product innovations and enhancements.


• Prepare and coordinate customer communications related to products.


• Generate and distribute reports that bolster Product Marketing and associated cross-departmental initiatives.


• Facilitate customer-focused ideation and innovation processes.


• Assist in product training: create materials and conduct live training sessions.


• Promote alignment across cross-functional processes.


• Uphold food safety standards, quality benchmarks, and compliance with product regulations.


• Undertake additional job-related responsibilities as required.

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)


• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related discipline.


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management or a related field.


• Experience in the B2B or B2C food sector is preferred.


• Strong analytical capabilities.


• Excellent project management skills.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.


• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.


• Proven track record of positively influencing and motivating team members.


• Commitment to enhancing processes, products, and services.
