About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Engineer to join our team at Feedonomics. As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a critical role in the sales cycle, assisting the Sales Organization with technical questions and presenting our platform to establish confidence in Feedonomics technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • First pass on Security questionnaires and all applicable documents.
  • Create custom demo environments for Sales Engineers, Senior Sales Engineers, and Sales Engineering Managers.
  • Setup databases for MDRs (Marketplace Data Reviews) and categorize products in the DB for categorization.
  • Participate in all stages of the sales cycle, including discovery calls, in-depth demonstrations of the Feedonomics platform, and custom demo preparation.
  • Review technical details with final decision-makers at the end of the sales cycle.
  • Attend and/or schedule internal calls to discuss technical aspects of open deals.
  • Document customer questions to ensure timely follow-up on outstanding issues.
  • Communicate technical requirements in note format inside of Hubspot to operation teams.
  • Participate in team activities, including weekly sales meetings, sales cafes, sales dojos, sales engineering meetings, and sales summits.
  • Understand competitive positioning and effectively differentiate Feedonomics.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Feedonomics platform integrations to import data and identify discrepancies or causes for delay.
  • Escalate issues for Sales Engineers - Tier 1 and Sales Operations.
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience in a client-facing technical role (Sales engineering, technical account management, etc.).
  • Experience working in an ecommerce and technical environment supporting high-volume, transactional applications, and data transformation/exchange.
  • Proficient in adapting to new software tools and environments.
  • Understanding of advertising channels, marketplaces, and web stores such as Amazon, eBay, Magento, Shopify, etc.
  • Understanding of online marketing and advertising concepts.
  • Technical working knowledge of API integrations.
  • Ability to travel 1-4 times a year.
