Leadperson Fab Operations

As a key member of our production team, the Leadperson Fab Operations will play a critical role in supporting the production objectives of the Weekend Shift Steel Fab Department. This position requires a strong leader who can effectively direct hourly employees, organize job duties, and oversee training for new hires.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct and motivate hourly employees to achieve production goals
- Organize and prioritize daily workflow to meet customer delivery dates
- Mentor and facilitate safety programs and activities
- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and suppliers to resolve quality issues and meet customer demand
- Coordinate inventory cycle counts and forecasting for raw and external vendor-related materials
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with PCs and Windows software, with database experience a plus
- Ability to read technical documents, including technical manuals and mechanical engineered drawings
- Knowledge of ISO 9000 Quality system
