Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Engineering Drafter I to join our team at Experis. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed technical drawings using CAD software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Drafting: Prepare scale layouts, assemblies, and details based on designs and/or specifications, utilizing a CAD system (Computer Aided Design). Provide accurate dimensions to define appropriate views of parts and assemblies by drawing orthographic projection and isometric views.
  • Communication: Obtain and communicate information to business partners relevant to shop work orders, purchase requisitions, project evaluation sheets, time sheets, project status, and other information.
  • Documentation: Complete documentation packages on assignments.
  • Collaboration: Work with machine shop personnel, designers, and/or engineers regarding design specifications and prototype design.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in Drafting or related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years' experience with Creo, AutoCAD, and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, mechanical inclination, and ability to work well in teams.
