Production Associate

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our team at AMETEK. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machines within the department, ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency in our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diversified duties to set up and operate machines, including simple machine set ups and machine operation.
- Work with adjustable measuring instruments, hand tools, carts, boxes, and related equipment and materials.
- Use mathematics, including decimals, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, to perform calculations and make decisions.
- Work from flowsheets, blueprints, specifications, drawings, and written and oral instructions to complete tasks.
- Exercise judgment to plan, perform, and make decisions regarding machine set ups, operations, and processes within standard methods and procedures.
- Make limited decisions regarding machine capability and running unique parts at any given time.
- Move materials as necessary to perform duties.
- Monitor, detect, and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual circumstances to the group leader or supervisor.
Requirements:
- Maintain established quality standards and follow quality procedures.
- Prepare and maintain records and reports as required.
- Ensure that work area and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly condition, and that prescribed safety measures are followed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or as required.
- Work overtime as needed or as required with appropriate notice and in accordance with company policy.
