Job Title: Customer Service Representative - Inside Sales Specialist

**Job Summary**

Banner Industries of N.E., Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and organized Customer Service Representative - Inside Sales Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating new and repeat sales, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information to customers
  • Understand customer needs to recommend suitable products and solutions
  • Suggest alternative products based on cost, availability, or specifications
  • Communicate prices, credit terms, and conditions following company guidelines
  • Process customer orders, quotes, and returns accurately
  • Provide precise details on stock availability
  • Obtain shipment and delivery information from vendors
  • Enhance sales through cross-selling, up-selling, and promotions
  • Educate customers on product features to boost sales
  • Follow up with customers post-sales to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
  • Fulfill requests for catalogs, samples, etc.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM system
  • Monitor customer satisfaction levels and communicate trends
  • Effectively manage time and collaborate with team members
  • Report changes in product demand to the purchasing department
  • Stay proficient in computer and office tools
  • Adhere to company policies and maintain a professional demeanor
  • Undertake additional tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in industrial distribution
  • Strong phone etiquette
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with CRM software
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Capability to multitask effectively
  • Honest, assertive, and methodical
  • Team player with relevant Inside Sales training
  • Knowledge of Shipping and Receiving processes
  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork spirit
  • Experience in distribution considered a bonus

Qualifications:

  • Prior sales or customer service experience preferred
  • Knowledge of CRM systems
  • Ability to establish strong client relationships
  • Effective negotiation skills
