Job Overview

$161,500.00 per year salary for a seasoned professional to lead the transmission maintenance team at AECC-Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corp.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety Management: Ensure all team members prioritize safety in their daily tasks and adhere to company protocols.
  • Capital Budgeting: Prepare and manage the capital budget for assigned areas of responsibility, monitoring expenses and reporting variances as needed.
  • Reliability Programs: Develop and maintain reliability maintenance and testing programs for company assets, including capital and O&M plans for transmission and substation equipment.
  • Maintenance and Testing: Oversee on-time testing and maintenance of substation and transmission assets to meet RMTP and NERC requirements.
  • System Restoration: Direct the restoration of transmission assets during system outages.
  • KPI Development: Create key performance indicators representing the status of O&M and capital/asset replacement programs.
  • Inventory Management: Provide overall direction for strategies around inventory, replacement, and critical spares programs for the transmission system.
  • Contract Management: Oversee the development of scope of work documentation to obtain bids from outside contractors for maintenance, construction, and testing.
  • Skills Assessment: Lead the skills assessment panel and direct the development of testing materials and assessments for technician skill competency.
  • Documentation: Approve documentation of substation commissioning reports, relay test reports, construction reports, and NERC documentation.
