Join Our Team as a Pain Medicine Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled Pain Medicine Physician to join our team at Greater Houston Interventional Pain Associates (GHIPA). As a Pain Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and developing personalized treatment plans for patients experiencing acute and chronic pain.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to manage pain.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Prescribe and administer medications and interventions as needed.
  • Educate patients and their families on pain management strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay current on advancements in pain management.

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Pain Medicine or Anesthesiology with a subspecialty in Pain Management.
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license in the state of Texas.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified / Board Eligible Anesthesiologist or PM&R Specialist.
  • Completed / completing fellowship in Pain Management / Medicine.
  • Active or Eligible for Texas Medical License.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years' experience in interventional pain management in a private practice setting.
  • Experience with interventional pain management techniques, such as spinal cord stimulation, radio-frequency ablation, and intrathecal drug delivery systems.
