The global e-commerce data science team at TikTok aims to maximize the efficiency of e-commerce transactions through quantitative techniques such as mathematical statistics and machine learning.
Key Responsibilities:- Apply causal inference, machine learning, and other technologies to actively explore opportunities in traffic, products, operations, and strategies.
- Through keen insight into the business, qualitative and quantitative analysis, model construction, and experimental verification, complete in-depth project analysis and provide strategic suggestions.
- Efficiently communicate with cross-functional teams, promote the implementation of strategy application, and continuously optimize.
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Analytics.
- Product Analytics, Machine Learning, and Statistics expertise.
- Experimentation skills.
- SQL proficiency.
- Python or R programming skills.
- Advanced degree (MS, PhD) in Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, etc.
- Expertise with e-commerce search or recommendation strategies and relevant domain knowledge.
- Strong curiosity and self-driving force, with a willingness to accept challenges and aim for the highest.
- Excellent communication skills, an open mind, and positive critical thinking.
- Strong driving ability, open and inclusive, with the ability to actively think and explore, with a sense of ownership, and willing to bring positive impact to the team.
