Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical circuits, equipment, and systems
  • Conduct electrical safety inspections and make recommendations for improvement
  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and systems
  • Assist in the design and layout of electrical systems and equipment
  • Collaborate with contractors and other departments to ensure smooth project execution
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in electrical studies or related field preferred
  • Valid driver's license and current driving record
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and job specifications
  • Knowledge of National Electrical Codes and state and local electrical codes and regulations
  • Basic computer skills and ability to communicate effectively with various departments
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, lifting, squatting, bending, crawling, reaching, and twisting. The ability to lift up to 15 pounds from floor to overhead, 50 pounds from floor to chest-level, and 50 pounds at waist height is required. Exposure to electrical and mechanical hazards is possible, and knowledge of safety precautions is essential.
