About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Operations Coordinator to join our team at Mount Sinai Hospital. As an integral part of our clinical operations department, you will provide administrative support to physicians and surgeons, ensuring seamless patient care delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule appointments and maintain accurate records.
  • Take detailed clinical phone messages and acquire insurance authorizations for procedures and tests.
  • Enter orders into the electronic medical record system and prepare prescription refill requests.
  • Maintain logging systems for tracking test results and assist in chart maintenance.
  • Schedule surgeries and procedures, verify times with patients, and prepare charts and pre-admissions forms.
  • Perform Medical Assistant duties, such as venipuncture and EKGs, if qualified.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required for performing Medical Assistant duties.
  • Three years of related experience preferred.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
