Job Description

At Texas Care, we are seeking a highly skilled Credentialing and Enrollment Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring that our franchisees and staff are properly credentialed to deliver exceptional care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Credentialing Management: Oversee the credentialing process for all staff, including therapists, clinical supervisors, and Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPs). Ensure compliance with Texas Medicaid requirements and behavioral health program standards.
  • Billing Support: Utilize your billing experience to assist with billing-related tasks, including claim submission, reimbursement tracking, and resolving billing inquiries or discrepancies.
  • EHR Management: Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of client information. Train staff on EHR usage and provide ongoing support as needed.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure that credentialing and billing processes adhere to regulatory requirements and organizational standards. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Administrative Support: Assist the Director with other administrative tasks and trainings as needed. Be familiar with Medicaid credentialing changes and update procedures accordingly.
  • Franchisee Assistance: Provide guidance and support to franchisees in the credentialing process, including CARF accreditation. Familiarity with CARF accreditation is helpful. Some travel may be required to assist franchisees on-site.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in credentialing, preferably in the behavioral health or healthcare industry.
  • Knowledge of Texas Medicaid-based mental health rehabilitation credentialing requirements.
  • Billing experience, including familiarity with billing processes and procedures.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
