Job Summary

The Behavioral Health Supervisor plays a crucial role in the success of our residential treatment facility, overseeing the daily activities of Behavioral Health staff and ensuring the highest level of care for our clients. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage staff schedules, coordinate coverage, and conduct performance reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage staff schedules, time, and attendance, ensuring adequate coverage and meeting client needs.
  • Collaborate with the Behavioral Health Director to conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and make recommendations for disciplinary actions.
  • Perform quality assurance checks to ensure documentation accuracy, cleanliness of grounds, and feedback to staff members and departments.
  • Participate in interviews, onboarding, orientation, training, and monitoring ongoing performance of assigned staff.
  • Attend local leadership meetings and collaborate with Human Resources on staffing-related activities.
  • Assist the Behavioral Health Director and act as liaison between assigned Behavioral Health staff and other staff.
  • Coordinate outside appointments and meetings for clients, and support the clinical and medical team.
  • Available for alternate, evening, overnight, and weekend schedules/shifts to meet client needs and business requirements.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of four years' experience in substance use, mental health, or healthcare field, or equivalent combination of experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • High school diploma, preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Ability to speak clearly and persuasively, listen, and respond well to questions.
  • Knowledge of organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, be attentive to detail, and maintain a positive work attitude.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all medical, financial, and legal information.
  • Ability to complete work assignments accurately and in a timely manner.
