Administrative Assistant/Dispatcher

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant/Dispatcher to join our team at Best Pick Disposal Inc. In this role, you will provide critical support to our office employees and customers, ensuring seamless service delivery and problem resolution.
Key Responsibilities- Dispatch drivers to calls as they are received, utilizing information on customer needs, drivers' locations, and daily factors to balance cost and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with sites and the service department to optimize routes based on customer needs.
- Determine the daily level of driver staffing to provide the best mix of responsiveness and productivity.
- Assign routes and service tickets to drivers throughout the day and for the next day, ensuring efficient route completion.
- Handle incoming calls and emails from customer service and sales departments, managing requests for container movement within the market area.
- Initiate communication with customers while drivers are on-site, resolving pick-up and other issues delaying service.
- Troubleshoot and resolve potential delivery and pick-up problems before they result in service issues.
- Ensure same-day service on missed pick-ups by managing routing and tracking driver movement.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or Dispatcher in a similar position.
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects.
- BILINGUAL (ENGLISH/SPANISH) is a must.
