Position Overview

The Material Handling Specialist plays a crucial role in the packaging process, ensuring that high-quality finished goods are prepared according to established quality standards and production timelines. Your efforts will help guarantee that our customers receive their products promptly and cost-effectively.

Key Qualifications

We are currently seeking candidates for the following roles:

  • Material Handling Operator/Forklift
  • Material Handling Operator/Packaging
  • Material Handling Operator/Extrusion
  • Material Handling Operator/Process Utility

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • Self-motivation and the ability to lead a workgroup effectively.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficiency in safe forklift operation.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts in various environmental conditions.
Primary Responsibilities

As a Material Handling Specialist, you will:

  • Operate production lines according to schedules, perform changeovers, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Utilize various machinery, including:
    • Flow wrappers
    • KHS and Roberts FF&S
    • Somic case packers
    • Palletizers
  • Conduct quality checks and report findings.
  • Monitor product flow and ensure compliance with cut-off and tone requirements.
  • Enter work orders into the management information system as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment that prioritizes safety and product integrity.
