Job Summary:

This role involves troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems on automated equipment.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in plant maintenance or general commercial mechanic experience and a strong understanding of basic tools.

Responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems on automated equipment.
  • Answer calls for maintenance quickly and fully prepared to make any repairs needed.
  • Complete preventative and predictive maintenance tasks, both while running and during scheduled shutdowns.
  • Maintain a safe working environment both in the maintenance shop and on the plant floor.
  • Provide and maintain your own hand tools, including wrench sets, miscellaneous pliers, socket sets, hammers, punches, etc.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in plant maintenance or general commercial mechanic experience.
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Strong mechanical ability.
  • Electrical troubleshooting ability.
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 50lbs.
  • Ability to work on your feet for hours at a time, and in hot environments.
