The Facilities Maintenance Technician role encompasses a variety of tasks across multiple maintenance disciplines to ensure the functionality of machinery, mechanical systems, electrical components, plumbing, and overall facility upkeep. The responsibilities outlined below are essential to maintaining our high standards.


Responsibilities:


The position involves a range of duties including but not limited to:

  • Pipe fitting and boiler maintenance
  • Insulation and welding tasks
  • Machining and carpentry work
  • Repairing electrical and mechanical systems
  • Installation, alignment, troubleshooting, and balancing of new equipment
  • Maintenance and repair of building structures, including floors and stairs

Regularly monitor equipment performance and ensure all machinery is thoroughly inspected and operational.

Conduct minor repairs and general cleaning as directed by management.

Maintain proper lighting throughout the facility.

Prepare routine maintenance reports and provide recommendations for ongoing operations to supervisors and management.

Identify and rectify any hazardous conditions promptly, documenting findings in daily reports to management.


Utilize tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and precision measuring instruments to repair machinery, equipment, or structures.

Effectively prioritize work assignments based on urgency and service requests.

Ensure cleanliness and organization of equipment rooms, maintaining a safe working environment.

Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Facilities Manager or Supervisor.



Qualifications:
High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent is required.

Experience in the maintenance or engineering field is preferred.

An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Availability to work various shifts, including Day, Swing, or Graveyard, is essential.

Willingness to work on weekends and holidays is necessary.

Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.

Ability to obtain and maintain a current employee permit or license as required.

Proof of employment eligibility in the U.S. is mandatory.

Successful completion of a drug test and background check is required.

Compensation:
