We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at UFP Industries. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our manufacturing department and ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Department Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of production employees, providing guidance and support to ensure that production goals are met.
- Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure that products meet customer specifications and industry standards.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Employee Development: Provide training and development opportunities to employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all employees follow safety protocols and company policies, and that all production activities are in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. business, operations management) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with 1-3 years of supervisory experience.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of employees. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other production software.
- Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Competitive Salary: $24-26 per hour.
- Bonus/Incentive Pay: Incentive pay may be available for certain job roles and may include piece rate incentives, weekly production bonuses, trip rates, and employee referral bonuses.
