Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Operator to join our team at Niagara Bottling. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines, maintaining high-quality standards, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain production equipment, including palletizers, carton makers, and drop packers.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor and control production processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including machine reports, quality reports, and downtime reports.
  • Participate in housekeeping activities to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Assist in the receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials and supplies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience with Oracle/MES or current order management system.
  • Ability to work in multiple areas of production with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
