We are seeking a skilled Peri-Operative Nurse Specialist to join our team at Brigham & Women's Faulkner Hospital. As a Peri-Operative Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in the operating room.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care in the operating room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in peri-operative care.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. CNOR preferred.
- New nursing graduates welcome.
- Adheres to all I.C.A.R.E. standards.
- Must demonstrate observational skills and the ability to set priorities.
- Must be able to function under stress with good interpersonal and communication skills.
