As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment, assisting with the peri-operative care of patients, and working closely with surgeons and nurses to ensure the smooth and efficient function of the operating room.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, ensuring a safe and sterile environment for patients and staff.
- Assist with the peri-operative care of patients, including preparing patients for procedures and providing support during procedures.
- Work closely with surgeons and nurses to ensure the smooth and efficient function of the operating room.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of sterile techniques and protocols.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
- Current Surgical Technologist Certification is required within one year from the date of graduation from a surgical technologist program.
- Preferred experience as a Surgical Technologist in an Operating Room or Ambulatory Surgery.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
