As a pivotal member of the Walmart Supply Chain team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our adherence to the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA). This position calls for a proactive leader who can effectively guide cross-departmental teams and manage intricate projects to uphold our commitment to food safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Oversight: Oversee the planning, execution, and assessment of FSMA-related initiatives. Set clear project objectives, timelines, and deliverables that align with corporate goals. Develop detailed project schedules and monitor key milestones while addressing any risks or challenges that arise.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to seamlessly integrate FSMA regulations into current practices. Inspire and lead cross-functional teams to successfully execute FSMA projects. Engage with key stakeholders to cultivate a culture of food safety across the organization.
- Compliance and Training: Ensure comprehensive compliance with FSMA standards throughout the organization. Design and implement FSMA training programs to enhance understanding and adherence to regulations.
In this role, you will:
- Facilitate end-to-end traceability to meet regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders to drive initiatives to completion.
- Establish timelines and project frameworks to achieve strategic objectives.
- Provide clear options and recommendations to support effective decision-making.
- Document proposed solutions to ensure consistent execution.
- Offer strategic guidance for the implementation of FSMA initiatives.

- Possessing a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience.
