Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team at StandardAero. As a Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal Quality Management and Business units to develop and continuously improve our NDT systems.
  • Assume technical responsibility for the NDT facility and staff, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Select the method and technique for a specific inspection, taking into account alternate NDT methods and related repair processes.
  • Write, approve, and teach NDT procedures and work instructions for technical adequacy.
  • Provide training, examination, and certification of personnel, ensuring they meet industry standards.
  • Conduct NDT for the acceptance of components, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement personnel and training programs, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance.
  • Oversee the continuous training and oversight of Level 2 inspectors, ensuring they meet industry standards.
  • Ensure that all tooling is correct for the inspections required, maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy.
  • Hold ASNT Level 3 Certification in a minimum of one of the following: PT, MT, and be able to certify as Level 3 per NAS 410 in both PT and MT within 6 months of start.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience working as a Level 3 in an Aerospace setting or equivalent experience.
  • Certification or knowledge of other NDT Methods is a plus.
  • Basic computer and technical writing skills.
  • Working knowledge of production management computer systems and other related internal control systems.
