We are seeking an Inventory Specialist to join our team at IDEXX Laboratories. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for cycle counts, inventory discrepancies, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.

About the Role

This Inventory Specialist position is a full-time opportunity that requires a high school diploma or equivalent. The ideal candidate will have good computer skills, including experience with SAP and Microsoft Office, and excellent customer service skills. You will also be required to lift up to 50 pounds and have a valid forklift certification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and investigating discrepancies
  • Keep the warehouse clean and organized, ensuring a safe working environment
  • Support inventory processes and strategies for continuous improvement of inventory accuracy and order fulfillment quality
  • Move and store equipment and inventory for internal and external customers
  • Perform other inventory-related tasks as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to work well under pressure and tight time constraints
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Prioritization and multitasking skills
  • Good computer skills, including experience with SAP and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and applicable ISO regulations
  • Valid forklift certification and ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Benefits and Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $45,000 - $55,000, depending on location and experience. Additionally, you will receive competitive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
