Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Registered Nurse in our Inpatient Oncology unit, you will:
- Conduct thorough nursing assessments to evaluate patient health status, adhering to established care standards.
- Develop, implement, and assess patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Deliver direct nursing care and oversee non-licensed staff within your scope of practice.
- Provide education and emotional support tailored to the patient's needs and circumstances.
- Administer specialized treatments, including chemotherapy and blood transfusions.
- Manage patients with complex medical devices and perform necessary procedures.
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- A degree from an accredited nursing program.
- A valid registered nursing license in the state of practice.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Current BLS certification.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency.
