About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Oncology team at Research Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our cancer program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments, including investigational protocols, and manage patients with radiation implants, central venous access devices, and spinal drains.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families, incorporating patient teaching into all aspects of nursing practice.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current licensure as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • BLS certification required and maintained.
