About the Role

PacifiCorp is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our customer and community relations efforts. As Vice President, Customer and Community Relations, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to grow and maintain existing business relationships in our service territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute plans to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, community leaders, and government officials
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Manage and allocate financial and employee resources to achieve business objectives
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage with customers and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years of directly related professional experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in people management
  • Advanced communications skills to listen effectively, transmit information accurately, and persuade stakeholders
  • Effective analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to recognize patterns in data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations for action
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build sustained working relationships
  • Exceptional leadership skills to direct the activities of individuals or teams toward the accomplishment of goals
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the utility industry and existing regulatory and stakeholder contacts
  • Project management skills and ability to prioritize and handle multiple issues and projects concurrently
  • Utility customer support and/or program management experience
