Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse in our High Intensity Care Unit (HICU), you will provide safe and effective patient care to individuals requiring attention for acute brain injuries, respiratory assistance, or special monitoring. You will work collaboratively with a team to assess patient status, implement clinical nursing interventions, and develop patient care plans to enhance outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide age-appropriate patient care and serve as a resource and leader for other members of the patient care team.
  • Continuously meet the requirements and expectations for RN II on the clinical ladder.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college) in a specialized field.
  • 2+ years of experience in the area of clinical expertise.
  • Maryland Registered Nurse License.
  • American Heart Association BLS CPR certification.
