Job Title: Grade Foreman

At Blythe Construction, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grade Foreman to join our team. As a Grade Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising field operations for an Earthwork/Roadway/Grading project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Directly supervise and coordinate activities of grading crew
  • Report on work to Superintendent
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
  • Monitor crews for organizational structure, sizing, crew mix ratios, and wage compliance
  • Report on time and materials
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Grade Foreman in the heavy highway industry
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • Well-organized and able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with management and fellow employees
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 90 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment:

Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions. The work environment periodically exposes employees to high levels of noise, grease, and dust associated with a construction project.
