At Blythe Construction, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grade Foreman to join our team. As a Grade Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising field operations for an Earthwork/Roadway/Grading project.
Key Responsibilities:- Directly supervise and coordinate activities of grading crew
- Report on work to Superintendent
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
- Monitor crews for organizational structure, sizing, crew mix ratios, and wage compliance
- Report on time and materials
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 5+ years of experience as a Grade Foreman in the heavy highway industry
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Well-organized and able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with management and fellow employees
- Ability to lift and carry up to 90 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions. The work environment periodically exposes employees to high levels of noise, grease, and dust associated with a construction project.
