As a part-time After School Program Site Coordinator, you will play a vital role in shaping the lives of high school students by providing academic, enrichment, and physical recreation programs.
Job Summary:
The After School Program Site Coordinator will lead a team of staff members to deliver engaging programs to students in grades 9-12. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to create a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and engage high school students in various educational and recreational activities, including tutoring, academic homework support, enrichment, physical activities, and clubs.
- Create a robust program for high school students, engaging over 120 students daily.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all participants.
- Collaborate with staff team members to plan and execute engaging programs, providing direct supervision of staff.
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and the school community.
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years-old or older and a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Passion for working with high school students in an educational setting.
- Experience supervising adults.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to create a safe and welcoming environment for all.
- Eagerness to contribute to a diverse and inclusive community.
