Job Summary:
We're seeking a skilled Design Engineer III to join our Technology and Development Mechanical team. As a key member of this team, you'll be responsible for designing and developing medical device components, assemblies, and fixtures. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of life-changing products and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Design Engineer III, you'll have the following responsibilities:
- Develop and create detailed design drawings and specifications based on project requirements using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
- Possess a strong background in engineering principles and practices relevant to your industry.
- Identify and resolve issues by analyzing problems, generating solutions, and implementing them.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of designs into the product development process.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Two to Five years of relevant engineering work experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) modeling and drafting, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and prototype creation.
- Excellent organization, communication, and technical writing skills.
- Ability to understand, analyze, and troubleshoot complex systems.
- Ability to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and independently.
