Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Provide direct patient care to assigned patients, including administering and monitoring dialysis treatments, monitoring vital signs, and documenting patient information.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Training and Development:
Participate in ongoing training and education programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in hemodialysis and renal care, and contribute to the development of new staff members through mentorship and coaching.
Customer Service:
Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals, and promote a positive and supportive work environment that fosters teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing (LPN, LVN) and current appropriate State licensure. One year medical-surgical nursing experience preferred, with hemodialysis experience a plus.
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities. Ability to lift up to 200lbs and stand for long periods of time.
