Job Overview:

We are looking for a talented Cloud Monitoring Engineer to join our team in Seattle, WA. As a key member of our DevOps team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based monitoring solutions using Datadog. You will work closely with our IT and development teams to ensure seamless integration of Datadog into our existing technology stack. With a strong background in Datadog, you will serve as the primary point of contact for Datadog-related inquiries and provide expert guidance and best practices to your team. In this role, you will also maintain detailed documentation of Datadog configurations, monitoring policies, and incident response procedures.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have at least seven years of recent experience in the DevOps SRE space with a strong background in Datadog. You should have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience with SIEM migration and extensive hands-on experience with Datadog are required. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement Datadog solutions to monitor and manage our diverse infrastructure, applications, and services.
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure effective integration of Datadog into our existing technology stack.
  • Lead a team of monitoring engineers, providing mentorship, training, and technical guidance.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of Datadog configurations, monitoring policies, and incident response procedures.

Estimated Salary:
$150,000 - $180,000 per year.
