Pharmacy Technician Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician Trainee to join our team at Community Medical Center. As a Pharmacy Technician Trainee, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and supporting our pharmacists in their clinical activities.

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication lists and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide patient education and support, promoting health literacy and adherence to treatment plans.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to process enhancements.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of pharmaceuticals, including medications, dosages, and potential interactions.

• Certification in the State of Montana as a Pharmacy Technician is not required at time of hire.
• Through the Technician-In-Training program, the individual must be prepared to obtain pharmacy technician certification and certification in the state of Montana within the first six months of hire.
• New hires will be required to obtain CPR within the orientation period.
• Must be proficient in English, pharmaceutical math, and computer literate.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
