Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension Seton Northwest. Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in the ICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication administration, and other medical interventions as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Texas.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Pediatric ICU RN, with a strong background in critical care nursing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
